Happy New Year from Missoula, Montana!

We're still working on those 2500 miles. Some wind and snowy conditions slowed our progress this evening. We are holed up in Missoula, Montana...about 5 hours short of Pullman. Looks like continuous snow is on schedule for tomorrow's drive. Five hours may be optimistic!

Giving Dixie some exercise just after stopping in Missoula.

Somewhere between Butte and Missoula, MT. The weather was starting to go downhill. These pictures don't do justice to the stunning scenery!

Beautiful Wyoming, just beyond Sheridan.

Dixie enjoying her plush travel arrangements. A foam air mattress, her own bed, and her new blanket keep her more than comfortable during travel. She dutifully takes a bathroom break each time we stop for gas, and as always...is a champion traveller!

Dixie enjoying her very first stay on a hotel bed.
I had to wake her up three times to make her snoring stop.

Next stop... Pullman, Washington. Happy New Year!

Hey guys!! It looks cold there but you all are used to cold living in WV all your life. Well,
good to hear everything is moving in an orderly fashion. Are the roads slick? Laci had her 5th birthday yesterday and said to tell ya "Hi Uncle Dreg and Aunt Lindsey!" I promise Greg by the time he talks to her again she will say his name properly. Ha Ha!!
We managed to keep our eyelids open long enough to bring in the new year once again. YEE HAW for
2009! Hope it goes as good as last year! Keep us informed. Love you all!!

Well,John says the scenery still is mezmerizing to him. We went to Shawn and GG's last evening. There
was about 15 or so there. We were a little late getting there but still got to play a game of apples to apples with everyone. If you have not played it before, try it. You need 4 or more to play. We were in bed and your little brother called to wish us a Happy New Year. I told John it was a good year last year and much better than some in the past. We went to Dade and got some dry firewood today for the shop. Still eating leftover ham and such. Hope things go smooth with your new home.(temporary home). We love you much and Dixie too.
